More stuff!

Last week, post arrived from Japan =) My very own shift knob + lock nuts.

And this week: my very own Nismo LMGT4s. Rubbing my hands in glee!!! Will have to save a while more before I get some tyres to put them on. But I am currently selling my SSRs + Tyres, which will help me fund my tyres for these rims =)

Oh did I also mention that 2 weeks ago I also got TE37s? Hmmmmmm best rims acquired, all within the space of a few weeks. Lucky me.

Defibrillators, please

Last weekend my car began to turn over weakly on ignition. It sometimes got better after a period of driving, but after any extended period of non-use, it would turn over weakly again. This made me think it was electrical related, but some reading told me that it could possibly be spark plugs instead. It’s actually kind of hard to get the right keywords in a search…

Anyway this morning went to Repco to buy some sparkies, came home, decided to put my battery from my civic into the 34 and try start it (an excellent idea from Mr.Moo) and lo and behold…it started perfectly. So I immediately ran out and bought a new battery, stuck it in, and started him up! Vroom vroom.

So. That’s another new thing to add to the list!

The waiting game

We all know this part. The waiting game. No, I haven’t forgotten about this place. But it’s a given there will be silent periods. Having said that, it’s only quiet because of two reasons:

1. Saving up money to buy next things on list
2. Have bought next things on list and waiting for them to arrive.

That’s mainly talking about suspension parts.

But my stock BOV did arrive end of last week, so might get around to try fitting that on this weekend. Mr. GV1 hasn’t been farting as much recently, and in fact I might try an ECU reset this weekend and then drive around for the weekend and see how much farting he does. If less then I’ll leave it, if not, I’ll put on the stock BOV.

Exciting news: will be getting my bonnet wrapped! As part of the SAU events night on Feb 21, I have volunteered to have my bonnet wrapped. Most likely black carbon!
